Time has passed since the ill-fated H.A.A.R.P. project’s demise. Bryson McGann and lifelong friend, Joseph “T.C.” Canton, employed by the Seattle based National Earth Seas Science Agency, are working on an undersea mining project off the Olympic Peninsula. Previously mined off British Columbia’s coast, a cache of polycarboamolite has recently been discovered within U.S. territory.
This top secret ore has caught the eye of the military machine and only Durnulqc Enterprises holds the key to an expedient mining process. During a scheduled conference, alluring Durnulqc representative, Monique Sinclair, raises the ire of independent contractor and girlfriend of Canton, Dr. Ashlyn Sanders, and the fascination of Bryson McGann.
A nearly fatal underwater accident leaves the two women clinging to life on the precipice of a deep abyss. Through McGann’s daring rescue, he and Canton are introduced to ruthless Canadian businessman, Fletcher Durnulqc, at a gala being held at his estate. This adversarial meeting and the unexpected discovery of Dr. Lawrence Alberts body at a recent crash site are just the first threads that begin to unravel in this intriguing drama.
