William Beck – A Revealing Interview

In a revealing interview, IWIC Hall of Fame author William Beck, creator of the Bryson McGann and Jess Colton  series, sheds light on his beliefs and ideas that help shape his thrillers with McGann and the National Earth Seas Science Agency (NESSA).

The author who seemlessly blends real life environmental concerns into his novels, uses NESSA, the quasi-governmental agency, as a vehicle to provide this fact-based information. Beck states, " We have to come to terms with many environmental concerns facing us today. Allowing people or political parties of either side to influence the public in a negative manner is an unworthy attribute."

Beck's passion for our oceans, rivers, and forests is clearly evident in his writing. It is a hallmark of his McGann tales and one which readers have responded to favorably. This passion stems from his upbringing and time spent above and below the seas enjoying the world around us. The author goes on to say, "It is up to all of us to be the implementers of positive change for the benefit of future generations."

Be sure to be looking for the next Bryson McGann thriller, Polar Meltdown in 2018. And the release of The Judas Coin, with NESSA consultant and archaeologist Jess Colton in her debut title, in the summer of 2017. And don't pass up the chance to read the free short story prequel to the McGann series, Solemn Vow.
